Initiation of GLUCOPHAGE/GLUCOPHAGE XR in patients with an eGFR between 30 - 45 mL/minute/1.73 m2 is not recommended. Do not use more than the recommended dose of chlorpheniramine, and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medication affects you.

You may need a dose adjustment of your diabetic medications during and after treatment with estradiol. Estradiol may interfere with blood glucose control and reduce the effectiveness of metFORMIN and other diabetic medications. Metformin lowers HbA1c (a test used to measure blood sugar levels) at the same amount or better than other diabetes drugs, without the side effects of other medications.
